many years ago, during one of my GS builds, i went scouring a UJM salvage. i came across a gigantic headlight bucket with the word "yamaha" written in paint pen. it had to have been close to 9" if not bigger. any ideas what models used this big headlight?
ive came across one bucket on ebay that looked similar, seller says it measures 8 1/4". maybe that's the one. the listing was for an XS1100. it wasnt the black/gold one from the midnights. im thinking one of the SECA or other XJ bikes used this big headlight, and perhaps a special xs11.
in the early early 80s, maybe mid 80s, suzuki GS1100s had a huge headlight that had an h4 replaceable bulb. these guys were unobtanium for anything under 200.
what im wanting it the replace the near mint 7" headlight i have with teh big "train" light i saw many years ago. bigger the better.
any ideas?
