REG/REC aftermarket option for xs400h 81

hi everyone
I need help with the reg/rec to install on my xs400h '81, I'm doing research about these parts but don't found too much information.
my question is what type of reg/rec can I install in my bike to work well? I already use a normal reg/rec from amazon with 6 cables (maybe is made in china) but that part causes some issues in the stator
and the regulator does not keep the current very stable, thanks to that the stator made a short circuit I think.

Better to get separate units. People seem to have no end to trouble with these aftermarket reg/recs.
