I need new chain for my 1980 XS400 Sohc. But there are a lot of choices. Is the most regular and cheapest one (DID 50 Roller Chain) fine for our bikes?

Sprockets look fine. almost whole chains sits nicely on the rear sprocket(chain moves ~3mm when pulling it from rear sprocket), but connecting link and 2 links next to it seems stretched or worn(moves 7-8mm when pulled away from sprocket) Not sure why only these links are worn.
