New Carbs Needed

I bought an XS400 engine and I’m currently working on getting it running, it needs a new wiring harness, alternator wires, cdi, carbs, a head gasket and some others. If you guys have any recommendations on what parts I should use it would be greatly appreciated, I’m looking to spend as little money as possible for the time being. I was looking at some Chinese carbs for about a hundred bucks.

If it were me, I'd try to get some used eBay factory carbs. You'll find you'd have to mess with jetting and throttle linkage issues with the cheap Chinese ones
