I am really losing my mind on this 1980 XS400. I started and ran the bike last year then drained oil/gas and winterized, this year I cant get it started.
Checked for spark on both sides, one had spark but the other cylinder didnt. The next day no spark on either.

Multi Meter Readings

Battery: 13.00 volts

Left Coil:
-Primary: 2.8 Ohms
-Secondary: 13.97 k Ohms

Right Coil:
-Primary: 2.8 Ohms
-Secondary: 14.17 k Ohms

What do I check next?

Your secondary ohms are higher than they should be. Not sure which specific model you have, but if your coils are 2.8ish primary, your secondary shouldn't be more than 10.32 kOhm (8.6 + 20% per the service manual).

Check for corrosion in the plug caps, or if they're seated on all the way on the plugs.
The other thing that did me in was a bad wire connection from the TCI to the rest of the harness--check your wires themselves and make sure you have continuity.

I believe mine model is an 1980 Yamaha XS400 SG. So im unsure what the regular amount should be.

I did a test and i do have contiunuity on both sides of the tci connector.
