Thought I would post this here even though it belongs on the xs650 forum, I don't have an acount there yet. Not to bash anybodys work but am I the only person that think this frame looks way unsafe and I am not big in to safety.

I would think it would need some gusseting at least....if its never ridden I suppose the risk could be worth it.
I personally wouldnt ride it.

Looks like the welds were just kinda piled on and didn't get very good penetration. I'm not a big fan of the round tube to square tube transition, but like skillzman said, I'm sure with some gusseting, that part of the frame could be made safe. I say for the price, you could have a shop weld on a hardtail, even a dropseat set-up, and it would have a lot more quality. If you wanted to stick with the swingarm, I still think you could have a shop do the work tons better than the present. But hey, we all have opinions...
