I've had my supermoto'd XR600 for 10+ years, it doesnt even have a speedo and it's passed it MOT every year (at 2 different testing stations I might add). Not that it means its 100% legal, but neither MOT man has ever been bothered by it, maybe I just got lucky.
Either way my XS400 will be having an eBay special GPS speedo because I also have RS125 forks and havnt figured out how to get the mechanical speedo drive to fit. And because it looks cool...

The difference in countries, here you MUST have a working speedo or it's fail city.

New here, but was absolutey chuffed to find this thread - despite it being dormant for some time!
I have become the owner of Cadxs build - it all happened pretty much by accident having seen it come up for sale on Facebook listed as a mx bike which i was actually in the market for. It seemed it needed saving so i went and collected it from a guy in shoreditch who needed it out of his film studio that wekend.
Cadxs are you still on here? Would be great to hear from you and share updates!

Not done anything to mine what with covid and the shitstorm after that.
Yeah ive had this for over a year and not touched it! Just dont have the time even though there isnt much left to sort out before being good to go!
Was considering putting the feelers out on here to see if anyone in the UK would be interested in buying it! Not looking to profit from it, id pass it on for what i paid just to make sure it goes to a decent new owner!
