Fixing Carbs

I've got an 82 xs400 maxim that I've been trying to reinstall for a while now. the airbox boots are shot and I was thinking of replacing them. Where would I go to find new ones, and if not how hard would it be to install pod filters?

This is part 12R-14453-00-00, officially called "air cleaner joint".

Yamaha has discontinued it.

Your best bet is eBay, or the classifieds here. I don't know if anyone makes reproductions.
