Just bought my first bike (project). Had it for a month now, giving some quick look overs and I noticed the attche

Looks like your head gasket is weeping.

Did you check the torque of the nuts?

Thanks for the reply Buddha! Haven't done that yet, but assuming this is the case, I found some seca gaskets that should fit my maxim. I can't find the post anymore but somewhere on this site someone recommended doing other things to the head since I'd be in there anyways?

It could be a very slow weep. Brake clean spray it all nice and shiny again and keep an eye on it. If the compression is good then it is just an oil weep.
