Bummer. I just listened to the video and it sounded like bad valve clatter. And it turns out I would have been wrong suggesting that. I would say you are at least in for a top end tear down. With the cylinders and pistons off you can inspect for lower end damage pretty well and remove any damaged chain without cracking the case open.

It probably was, as the camshaft sprocket mount was the one to rip off, and the chain somehow survived, i still have no idea how it was related to the coil job.
That's a pretty unusual failure. With all of the discoloration of the broken cast metal, it looks like the crack had been there for some time. It appears that the only shiny metal is at the very ends of the bit that broke off.
