Brand new to me Xs400 Canadian vin.

Hi im looking to see if anyone has any info on what model xs400 i have. the vin is 14W000612.
its a canadian bike, and its a 1981. Thats all i know. ive tried googling vin decoders but cant find any information. Im trying to find a wiring diagram on it so i can start rewiring the mess the previous owner left.

It's an 82 but retains the front disk brake from the 81.
Generally stick to using info from 1981 though as 1982 also introduced the double overhead cam version which is not the same.

The Haynes manual posted at the top of the Garage has a wiring diagram for it.
