I think I need to increase the size of my pilot jet and maybe my main jet in my Mikuni carb on my bike. The main right now is 135 and the pilot is 42.5 which is stock I believe. I want to at least go up one size on the pilot as it seems to be lean and I cant fix it from changing the air/fuel screw. As this is the first time I have changed jets before, are all Mikuni jets universal or do I need ones specific to this carb?

I don't think Mikuni jets are universal across the range of carburetors that they have produced. Your best bet is to go to a supplier like Jets R Us and from there you can narrow down to Mikuni and then to the model number of the carbs you have (BS series for the SOHC bikes). If you have questions, send them a comment and they should be able to help you out.
