84' swing arm bolt stuck

Hey guys,
I am trying to remove the swing arm but cant seem to get the bolt out. I got it moving but I cant tell if it is rusted in there or maybe has threads inside that Im stipping. It moves but not a lot and sounds like its grinding inside. Just thought Id throw it out there before I pull out the sledge...Any one pull that bolt out before? Im thinkin its just 29 years of neglect.

I've had mine out many times. Brace one side, crank on the other.

Thanks Betwrench. Worked great. The sleeve was riddled with rust and smashed/ground up bits of bearing....Where do you get your parts around here?

The sleeve will be a bit of a task to find. Mike's XS Canadian site may have one, but otherwise, it's to eBay for you.

Also, Lou Ranger has a parts bike. He should have the part, and I'm sure will offer you a good price. XS Chris is also a good source of parts.

Look what just popped up on kijiji - 1981 Maxim makes no sense, so a pic might help, but here's your parts bike.

And I just checked, only 82 and 83 Seca and Maxim bushings will fit. (well, have the same part number...)

part #'s won't work, measurements are the key. did you try cirrius CSI?

The sleeve seemed in tact. I think its the bearings Im after...Ill have to take some measurments first.
