81 xs400 gas tank compatibility?

Hi i bought 81 xs400 with the original tear drop gas tank which im not fond of. Iv been researching and susing out these forums but i cant get a clear answer so can some with experience please tell me which gas tanks are compatible to the 81 xs400 frame other then the tear drop gas tank as i want to turn it into a cafe racer with low forks, clip on handle bars and no fenders with cafe racer seat with shortened frame with a hoop modification.
