I'm fixing up an '81 engine and there is scoring on the big end of the connecting rod. Does anybody know/have a source for the big end bore diameter for the conn rod? Since the Haynes manual only has the small end bore diameter and I have not been able to find this spec elsewhere.

It looks like the factory manual doesn't state that the big end bore diameter either. All of the critical measurements on the big end of the conn rods are taken with the bearings in place and the rod torqued up on the crankshaft. If anything is out of tolerance, the manual says to disassemble the conn rod and replace any worn parts.
You only really mentioned one rod. Do both conn rods have the scoring such that you can't measure the big end of the other rod?
