XS400 New Member
Hello all, it’s been a while since I posted last. Have had multiple things getting in the way of my build, primarily getting my 2007 V-Star 650 back on the road. Spent the past week finishing up that, then spent the weekend starting to tear down the XS 400. I seriously have hundreds of photos and could probably do my own Clymer/Haynes manual! Haha I am getting the majority of parts through MikesXS webshop, so thankfully there is a plethora of of parts to be had. The hardest part for me is finding replacement electrical components for it. I honestly don’t think this is going to be a difficult build due to how good of condition the mechanical parts are in. All of it looks bad on the surface but that’s just it. It’s all on the surface. The worst thing to be seen on it was mud and a mouse nest up under the main chain drive. Any advice on electrical parts would be greatly appreciated!!!
