thanks for the manual, i tried a 15 amp fuse once and my regulator got hot so wont be doing that again.

thanks, my headlights are not part of my original wiring and are not connected. None of my wires are exposed or melted. I'm now looking at different theories.:thumbsup:

its a 10 amp, correct? i did have the bike running well until i decided to try and make the wiring cleaner then it decided to act up.

lol thanks been looking for a while. even rebuilt the wiring harness:shrug: trying to find different things to try, do you think the spark plugs arcing would be causing this?... thanks for your help:cheers:

My ignition fuse is popping anytime I kick it...

Im 90% sure its not my wiring, but it just does not make sense. i have 2 sets of wiring and they both have the same result... (headlight is a different circuit and not plugged in.) would spark plugs arcing cause this issue?

when i go to kick my bike my ignition fuse pops after one-two spark cycles on the plugs.my regulator also gets warm for some reason? im running a sliced wirring harness but i dont thinnk thats the problem because it ran fine for a while, anyone have any ideas on why its shorting? my wirring...

I am currently building a xs400 chopper not 100%sure on the year but its between a 77 an 84. anyways, I'm running uni pods and straight pipes. decided to bring the main jet up a size as well as the pilot.(now running 137.5 main and 45 pilot) the bike idles but has a hard time coming back down...

not sure what year my bike is, but this wiring worked. i think...
