I've got this seat I've had for like 3 years. I pulled it off my xs360 when I chopped the subframe. It's in great shape! No rips at all! Not sure what it's worth. $75?

so before my bike (77 XS360) was running pretty good except for a mean bog in mid range rpm's. so I pulled my carbs to do a more thorough cleaning. popped them back on and I can't for the life of me get the bike to stay running. the only thing I adjusted was idle. it will run for 3 or 4 seconds...

You can't find anybody to weld the case? and maybe add a little more material in that spot to reinforce?

I also advise clutch adjustment. check if your spark is strong, if not start with the cheap things then ie. spark plugs, plug caps, oil, coils and lead wires

Yes try to look for a third. but in luckyeight's picture the 3 spots are exactly what you should be grinding down. Because those are the only spots it is attached to the frame. If you can't see the third spot then work on the two you can see and start prying, you should be able to find the last...

Yeah those spot welds are pretty strong, so hitting it off is probably not going to work. Best way I've found is to grind JUST the spot welds until the metal is fairly thin, then try prying or hitting it

I'd say in Utah that's about the best bike for the price as you're gonna get. Since the older 400's are pretty rare here. i actually have been looking at that same bike on KSL for quite a while, watching the price go down. You could wait? or snag it now

Which wire do I eliminate? Since my flasher has three wires. black, brown, and brown with white

Well the stock flasher does not work. The bulbs in the new signals are not quite large enough to trip the stock flasher so they just stay on. And someone on here recommended to LED flasher unit to me. Also is there a thread on how convert to a two prong flasher?

figured it out.. just had to put it in writing to brainstorm further:shrug: its the new relay.. does anyone know why it may have done that? or what i can do so i can use my new turn signals?
